1. Service description
Moxtronic provides mail-in EEPROM reprogramming services for Japanese domestic market (JDM) vehicle instrument clusters. The service converts the display language from Japanese to English.
2. Compatibility
Compatibility is specific to your cluster's hardware revision, EEPROM chip variant, and ECU programming. Our supported vehicle list is a guide only. We confirm compatibility when we receive your cluster. If conversion is not possible for your unit, we will return it and issue a full refund.
3. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for safely removing your cluster and packaging it securely for transit. Moxtronic is not liable for damage caused by improper removal, inadequate packaging, or transit handling by postal carriers.
4. Refund policy
If we determine that conversion is not possible after receiving your cluster, we return it at our cost and issue a full refund within 5 business days. No refunds are issued once conversion has been completed and the cluster returned.
5. Odometer and data
We do not alter your odometer reading, trip data, or service interval data. Our service is limited to reprogramming the language/display byte in the cluster EEPROM.
6. Limitation of liability
Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service. We are not liable for consequential loss, loss of use of your vehicle, or costs arising from incompatibility discovered after conversion.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
